Ch-Ch-Changes

The mat on the right is more than just my mat from the past five or so years. It was the mat I threw in my Dad’s cart at Marshall’s and he unhesitatingly got for me (like back in the day when I’d throw all the things in the grocery cart 😅). ⁣

It supported me through some ups and through definite lows. I realize now how much yoga helped to heal me through the heartbreak of loss. And how much yoga has continued to ground me when there’s nothing but unknown, whenever thoughts run amuck, and reminds me of how strong I am whether I decide to take a child’s pose for a breather or take my practice to the next level. It’s been my place to simply be and see where the hour will take me - physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually. And now it’s a reminder to keep that flow mentality in my everyday to soak in what’s before me and to embrace what’s yet to come. ⁣
